Mission

Our Mission: To promote, encourage and provide programs and services which contribute to economic growth and development of African American small businesses throughout the greater San Antonio area.  To advocate policies, and establish coalitions which improve business opportunities for African Americans, and provide a foundation for a diverse and prosperous regional economy.

History

Established in 1938, ACBCC membership represents all facets of the business community and includes members of many groups. Included in our membership roster are representatives from corporations, entrepreneurs, banks, communications, insurance brokers, managers, internet specialists, government officials, educators, attorneys, contractors, logistics coordinators, accounting firms, advertising agencies, entertainers, financial advisors, real estate brokers, and retailers.
South Texas Black Business Expo
This annual business gathering allows members to promote their products and services to interested consumers, other businesses and to corporations looking for joint venture partners.
San Antonio Black Business Guide
This is an essential business tool that the Alamo City Black Chamber of Commerce produces annually to distribute to interested buyers throughout Texas and around the country. Partners can choose from basic listings up to full-page four-color display ads.

Affinity Groups

To promote related industry talents in a cohesive team, ACBCC sponsors Affinity Groups that include the following: Finance, Education, Health/Medical, Professional, Construction Contractors, Communications, Community, Professional and more.

Founder’s Banquet
Annually, the Alamo City Black Chamber of Commerce recognizes its founders, who had the foresight to form this organization in 1938, and honors today’s business leaders in an event that will educate, entertain and inspire.
